"While my Mom was cared for I was very pleased with the cleanliness, and wonderful care provided by caregivers, nurses and staff. They were all there to made her and family comfortable. We felt we were in a warm caring place from day one."

“Very clean. Courteous staff. They had lots of activities for my mother, and the staff was very attentive to her needs. My family made a good decision when they brought my mother here.”

“So pleased that we found this place. My family and i could not be happier with the care our mother received. the staff was patient, and understanding, especially the nurses and Charity the therapist, mom loved them.
Our experience began when mom had a terrible stroke at home when we were celebrating a family birthday, then came the emergency room, then hospital for about 10 days. a Gtube, difficulty walking and talking, and depression. we did a little therapy in the hospital and mom was able to take a few steps. then we were discharged from the hospital, even though we were not ready, they said mom had to go somewhere else. (healthcare in america??!!)
Well thank god that when we asked for a rehab facility close to the hospital and our home, we were told about spring creek. we had no idea that this place even existed, and its literally right next to lockport. in less than 2 weeks mom was walking with a walker with the therapist over 100 feet, amazing. the speech therapist, Olivia, had mom talking (slowly, but she could communicate and understand us again). and she could eat real food by the third week.
It took 4 weeks to get her home, but mom is safe, happy, back to herself, eating all the unhealthy food she used to, HA, and we thank spring creek for saving her life.
Oh and the patient rooms are beautiful. really, they are exactly like the web site, which had good information too.”The Porters
“It may not be the fanciest facility (currently in the remodeling process), but it is one of the best. During my working career, I worked in a number of facilities and had the opportunity to visit many.
During the time my brother-in-law was there, my sister was in another facility for physical rehab. The place was beautiful but lacked the high quality of nursing care and compassion that prevailed at Spring Creek. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.
To the staff: keep up the good work! You’re doing everything right.”Ann C.
“My mother has been at Spring Creek for two years. She is blind and unable to walk due to hip and spinal fractures. The staff are almost all kind and caring. I would have given five stars except for the fact that they are understaffed and that can lead to long delays. The administrators listen to concerns but it takes some persistence to get things done.”

“Well, i dont know about the healthcare industry in general. but i have had a couple relatives in nursing homes. one in joliet was good on hammes ave. one on larkin was terrible. i can honestly say that spring creek is clean. the staff is nice. and they are doing a lot of renovation. i mean the rooms are custom built and gorgeous. the director is this nice lady tasha, who i found out is also a nurse. how good is that. i would say they care, and listen. and have a beautiful place. i suggest going inside to actually see the place for yourself. absolutely a great place! its almost comfortable like they are family or something.”

“My dad is here and what they have done with the lunch/activity room is great. It looks very nice. The aides are very nice.”

“We toured several nursing homes before deciding on Spring Creek. The one thing we especially noticed was that it did not reek of urine, which other homes were so bad, I could not breathe through my nose. The staff was wonderful to my Mom. Erica would come in every morning to do her makeup and her nails were always polished. We visited on different days and times, and her room was always clean and organized, and the bed was always made. We were there one day when they were cleaning her room and bathroom, and were pleasantly surprised on the detail of the cleaning. They were even wiping down the walls. It never smelled in her room or anywhere in the hallways. I know they are in the process of remodeling the entire place. The staff treated Mom so well. I cannot say enough about how well Lucy and Kevin responded to any questions we had. Spring Creek is highly rated by US News and World Report, too. We are so thankful that we found this place for Mom. We also went there for a Mother’s Day Tea, and the staff provided all of the treats, and treated every person there with care and respect. Their whole staff is so caring with the residents there. Mom has stayed in other places for respite care, and the smell of urine was overwhelming. Spring Creek has never had that issue, and Mom has been there over a year. Plus, there were activities going on all the time. This is a truly wonderful place.”

“Wonderful, just so happy that we found spring creek. we needed rehab for our mother. so i toured 3 places, my sister toured the same 3 places. we chose spring creek, we live in lockport, so it was very close. mom was in the hospital after having a stroke, and needed physical and speech therapy and after she was in the hospital for 10 days she needed more therapy.
The spring creek staff was kind to us and our mother Nora, Rebekah, Tasha, Nadine and Kevin are all amazing people. the building looks plain on the outside, but the patient rooms are beautiful. just like the pics on the website and the ones here on yelp, new furniture, new floors, the bathrooms are nicer than ours, and our house is only five years old.
But the most important thing to us is that mom got excellent nursing care and rehab, when she left spring creek she was able to walk and talk and eat real food after her therapy. and when she initially had her stroke, she couldn’t walk, talk or eat. spring creek did an amazing job. she was there for almost 4 weeks, but is now home and safe and HAPPY!
I strongly recommend you choose spring creek if you or your family member needs rehab after an illness. they are wonderful people.”
